Juliette Baysham

Following 20 years working in the finance industry, I returned to college to study osteopathy in 2004.  My professional experiences and my training as a yoga instructor provided me with a variety of skills relevant to an osteopathic career.

 I have worked with a variety of patients including children, expectant mums, athletes and HIV patients.  These experiences have stimulated my desire to work with all parts of the community and explore other alternative/complementary therapies.  Since joining Derby Cottage Clinic in 2008 and working with sports injury patients, I have utilised both my osteopathic and yogic skills together with my knowledge of nutrition.

 In my spare time, I enjoy reading, art, music and travel.  Alongside yoga, walking and running, I am always ready for new challenging activities having completed several runs including the British 10k.  Recently I’ve taken instruction in Pilates, Tai Chi and Qi Gong.  I also teach yoga classes in the Clinic’s studio.

 With sensitivity to my patients and students individual needs, I work diligently and conscientiously to enable them (and myself!) to live healthier lives in a more holistic environment.
